It is of paramount importance that a Christian school (WCA) be supported by a Christian home and a Christian church. All three should be complementary, which means that all three should be in Biblical agreement for a truly well rounded education of the student. It is therefore necessary that the parents agree with the philosophy and teaching of our school. Although we fully understand that children are in the process of being trained and although we recognize the vital role of the Christian school in this training, it must be understood that we are not a reform school, that we are not the solution for troubled students and that the student must want to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ!
In addition, because of our commitment to academic excellence, a student's academic ability and motivation to succeed are important factors when being considered for enrollment at Westminster Christian Academy. The following admission policies have been adopted to assure consistent standards of admission in agreement with the doctrine, philosophy and bylaws of Westminster Christian Academy.
1. All families should be in regular, active fellowship with a local Bible-believing church.
2. Both parents/guardians must be present for the interview with the Administration. Only in exceptional situations will an allowance be made!
3. Applications will only be considered when all the following have been received:
- Application
- Pastoral Recommendation
- School Administrator's Recommendation
- Copy of last report card
- Copy of standardized test results
- Proof of Immunizations
- Signature of Parents'/ Guardians' Commitment of Support
- Signature of Student Agreement of Conduct
- Paid Registration Fee
4. Students will be accepted in the order in which the application and registration fees were received. |
