Worship Life

/files/WCA/Students/worship_girl.jpgWorship, biblically speaking, is to acknowledge, express and declare the glory and worth of God. We teach students to worship God because He is worthy of reverence, honor, love, and allegiance. We also emphasize the great love God has for us in sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to give Himself as the only sacrifice acceptable to remove our sins and declare us righteous. It is our desire to teach students that the worship of God should pervade their lives. As God's people, we are to lead lives of worship, this involves every aspect of our lives- our family life, our schooling, our recreation, and of course, our times of formal worship with God's Church.

/files/WCA/Students/student_girl1.jpgAt Westminster we desire to lead students to worship God in Christ. We accomplish this through the integration of God's Word in every aspect of their education. In addition to the attitude of worship we attempt to impress upon our students, we gather every Wednesday morning for a formal worship service led by Redeemer's pastors. These "chapel" services include the traditional, historic elements of Christian Worship (Call to worship, The Lord' Prayer, Apostle's Creed, Confession of Sin, Assurance of God's Grace, the singing of Hymns, and the preaching of God's Word). We seek to train students to give God their best offering in all spheres of life.
